| Based on method from the specification for “Assessment of forest ecosystem services inChinaâ€(LY/T1721-2008) from State Forestry Administration, P.R. China and “Evaluation of Chineseforest ecological services function†to assess the main forest types of the ecosystem services function inSui Chang County. The results showed that:(1) The total value of forest ecosystem services was13.33billion yuan·a-1; In unit area scale, the annual value was63300yuan per hectare.(2)The total value ofservices value provided by different forest types: The broadleaf forest had the highest annual valuewhile the scrub growth forest had the lowest, and were respectively4.65billion yuan and0.49billionyuan. In unit area scale, broadleaf forest had the highest value while the scrub growth forest had thelowest, and were respectively70300yuan per hectare and44800yuan per hectare.(3) The value ofwater conservation, carbon fixation and oxygen release were respectively7.77billion yuan and3.24billion yuan, which accounted for the total value of82.57%. These two services were the mainecosystem services in Sui Chang County.(4) Compared with2005, the largest increase in the value ofecosystem service function is water conservation, an increase of95700yuan. The average annualgrowth rate is the largest carbon fixation and oxygen release, the average annual growth of8.15%. Thelargest increase in unit area value of ecosystem service function is carbon fixation and oxygen release,an increase of4925.12yuan per hectare, and the average annual growth of9.11%.(5)In the unit areascale, the value of ecosystem service function in Sui Chang County is higher than the national level, thelevel of Zhejiang Province, and is respectively1.92times and1.28times, and reached a higher level.For water conservation and carbon fixation and oxygen release services function are the importance offorest ecosystem services function, the search holds that the broadleaf and Moso bamboo forest(Phyllostachys edulis) have significant influence in studying assessment of forest ecosystem servicesfunction in Sui Chang County. Consequently, the research suggests increasing the broadleaf forestproportion; speeding up transforming the coniferous forest into the broadleaf forest project anddeveloping Moso bamboo forest to produce more forest ecological benefits in Sui Chang County. |
