Study On The Forest Ecosystem Services Function Valuation And Spatial Distribution Of Wuyishan

Ecosystem services are the condition and process through which natural ecosystems,and the species that make them up, sustain and fulfill human life. The forest as a natureresource plays important ecosystem service functions in people's survival and daily life.Therefore, there are many researches on the evaluation of forest ecosystem servicesfunction around the world. In the last decade, there is also much research workconcerning the forest ecosystem services function in our country.The meaning of the evaluation of the forest ecosystem services function in Wuyishanwas discussed on the base of reviewing the concept, the researching progress, and theproduction mechanism of ecosystem services, the classification and the evaluationmethods of ecological services function in this paper. Base on the GIS technique, thevalues of the output of standing trees and other forest products, fixing CO₂ andreleasing O₂, water conservation, soil and fertilization conservation, cleansing theenvironment and forest recreation of the forest ecosystem in Wuyishan were assessedwith the methods of environment economics such as market value, shadow project,opportunity cost and material replacement etc. The compensation fee of forest ecosystemservices was also calculation in Wuyishan. With GIS analysis methods, the paper canmade us can get the direct chart of the distribution of the valuation of forest ecosystemservices function. This method can provide both the amount and the visible chart, whichwill help the decider be clearer about the distribution and make decisions with high level.The research will supply a scientific basis for decision of administration, provide methods,techniques and data supports for assessment of ecosystem services function in the future,and lay the foundation for realizing the digital forest.
