Biomass-Based Forest Ecosystem Services Evaluation In Shiyan City, Hubei Province

Forest,as a nature resource,plays important ecosystem service in people's survival and daily life. Forest ecosystem services refer to the conditions and avail pivotal to human being,which are formed and maintained by the forest ecosystem and its ecosystem process.They not only supply to human with the direct value such as the forest products,but also perform fundamental life-support services.As the elementary producer of the mainland ecological system,forest plays important roles to the sustainable development.Maintaining and improving ecosystem services is the basis of sustainable development of human being society.In this paper,I summarize prevenient ecosystem services research results,including domestic and international forest ecosystem service value assessment of the status quo,with an emphasis on evaluation through biomass and "3S" technology.This paper is based on Xie Gaodi's research,by means of the Shiyan City's forest ecosystem biomass-related research,obtain the Shiyan City ecosystem service value per unit area of forest ecosystems and use it as the basis,evaluate the value of the forest ecosystem services.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1).Combined with field surveys and related statistical data,apply "3S" technology to analyse the TM image and obtained the different forest types(coniferous forest and broad-leaved forest)'s spectral reflectance model,the spectral reflectance model of broad-leaved forest is:Y(t)=21.866×NDVI-1.4704,the spectral reflectance model of coniferous forest is:Y(t)=1.195781929-0.03213619976×TM4+1.8735412856×RVI.(2).Apply of ArcGIS software for TM image and the spectral reflectance model,draw a wide range of Shiyan City forest and their spatial distribution of biomass,calculated forest average biomass is 84.66246t/hm².(3).Use the average biomass and Xie Gaodi's biomass-amend ecosystem service value formula to fix per unit area ecosystem services value in different system types,come to the Shiyan City's forest ecosystem services value per unit area table,each of which hectares of forest ecosystem services for the total value is 21148.1 yuan,of which the value of gas regulation 3387.6 yuan/hm²,the value of climate regulation 2613.3 yuan/hm²,water conservation value of 3097.2 yuan/hm²,soil formation and protection of the value of 3774.7 yuan/hm²,waste to deal with the value of 1268.0 yuan/hm²,the value of biodiversity conservation 3155.3 yuan/hm²,the value of food production 96.8 yuan/hm²,raw materials,the value of 2516.5 yuan/hm²,entertainment and cultural value of 1238.9 yuan/hm². (4).According to the land-use classification map of Hubei Province,Shiyan City has an area of 812580 hectares of forest,the total forest ecosystem services in Shiyan is 1.72×10¹⁰yuan.
