In order to study the the effects of ecological factor and the relationship of tobacco leaf quality style and the cell wall material content, we selected 15 typical tobacco-planting counties of Wulingshan area and Guizhou typical tobacco producing. In the study, the effects of ecological factor on cellulose, lignin and hemicellulose of middle leaves, the variation characteristics of substance content in tobacco cell wall among years and the relationships between the contents of cell wall material and four kinds of quality indices(appearance quality, physical property, chemical components and sensory quality) were analyzed. The results showed that,(1)The correlation between the cell wall material contents and different climatic and soil factors of each grow period in Wulingshan area and Guizhou typical tobacco producing were mostly consistent. Soil temperature, air temperature, humidity and diurnal temperature variance were the main climate factors that relate closely to the contents of cell wall material; p H, total nitrogen, alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen and total phosphorus were the main soil factors that relate closely to the contents of cell wall material.(2)In Wulingshan area, there were no significant differences of cell wall material contents between the upper, middle tobacco leaves collected in different years. The cellulose content of middle tobacco leaves were extremely significant and positively correlated with K, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with the equilibrium moisture, reducing sugar, total sugar; the lignin content were extremely significant and positively correlated with the leaf maturity, structure, leaf width, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with leaf density, aroma note, density of smoke; the hemicellulose contents were extremely significant and positively correlated with leaf body, reducing sugar, total sugar, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with the stem ratio, diffusiveness, softness. The cellulose contents of the upper flue-cured leaves were extremely significant and positively correlated with the leaf maturity, leaf weight, stem ratio, total nitrogen, nicotine, K, Cl, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with oil, reducing sugar, total sugar, aroma quality, aroma volume, aftertaste, miscellaneous gas, irritation, gray and sense of tobacco leaves; the lignin content were extremely significant and negatively correlated with oil, gray; the hemicellulose contents were extremely significant and positively correlated with gray, and were extremely significantly and negatively correlated with stem ratio.(3)In Guizhou typical tobacco producing, significant differences existed in the contents of cellulose, lignin between the upper, middle tobacco leaves collected in different years. There were no significant differences of the hemicellulose among different years. The hemicellulose contents of the middle tobacco leaves were extremely significantly and positively correlated with leaf body, the cell wall material contents of the middle tobacco leaves had no significant correlation with other quality indices of the tobacco tobacco. The cellulose contents of the upper tobacco leaves were extremely significant and positively correlated with stem ratio, leaf width, K, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with oil, aroma quality, aroma volume, sense of tobacco leaves, reducing sugar; The lignin content were extremely significant and negatively correlated with color, leaf density, length, gray, reducing sugar, total sugar; the hemicellulose contents were extremely significant and positively correlated with leaf weight, leaf density, length, and were extremely significant and negatively correlated with irritation. In Wulingshan area and Guizhou typical tobacco producing, soil temperature, air temperature, humidity, diurnal temperature variance, p H, total nitrogen, alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen and total phosphorus were the main climatic and soil factors that related closely to the contents of cellulose, lignin and hemicellulose of tobacco leaves. Some indexes of appearance quality, physical property, chemical components and sensory quality were correlated significantly with cell wall material contents. Significant correlations were found between tobacco quality indexes and the contents of cellulose, lignin and hemicellulose.
