This thesis conducts a research to develop multiple parameter adjustable spraying machines. For a structural analysis of typical swirl nozzle, optimizing the nozzle structure parameters to improve the atomization effect of nozzle, which makes a reference to solving the above problems.First of all, this thesis analyzes the factors that affecting the atomization effect of nozzle, and introduces the basic evaluation index of atomization effect of nozzle, such as droplet diameter, droplets distribution uniformity. In addition, this thesis makes a discussion about the relationships between the highest speed and the atomization effect of nozzle. Based on the theories used for nozzle research, this thesis puts forward a optimization proposal in terms of the main structural parameters of nozzle spiral, such as the number n of spiral slot, the spiral groove angle β of spiral slot, and spiral groove width b of spiral slot. According to the simulation results, we try to craft a number of nozzles. Then we built a nozzle test platform to investigate the nozzle droplet diameter and droplet distribution index. Under other nozzle structural parameters unchanged, we respectively made the single-factor test about the number n of spiral slot, the spiral groove angle β of spiral slot, and spiral groove width b of spiral slot. And we conducted a test data collection, processing, recording and analysis to verify the maximum speed of the nozzle affected by three structural parameters in the simulation results. The results showed that the atomization effect of nozzle is consistent with the influence of the maximum speed of the nozzle. We used orthogonal test to filter optimal variable combination. Each functional unit of the test platform set up under the text needs stably operated and achieved test demand. Obtained optimum combination of:when the number of the spiral grooves is four, the spiral groove width of 1mm, a spiral groove lead angle is 30°, the number of diameter 87 μm, uniformity is 0.683, atomization is the best. By testing the following conclusions:(1)In the single-factor test of the atomization effect of nozzle, by the results of the test data, this thesis analyzed that the factors of the atomization effect of nozzle are the number n of spiral slot, the spiral groove angle β of spiral slot, and spiral groove width b of spiral slot.(2)By filtering the optimal variable combination of structural parameters in the orthogonal test, this thesis found that when the number n is 4, the spiral groove angle β is 30’, and spiral groove width b is 1mm of spiral slot, the droplet diameter corresponds with the requirements of the target, and the uniform of droplet distribution is maximum, that is to say, the atomization effect of nozzle is the best.
