This study intended to select some appropriate edible mushroom species tocultivate on the forest land in Huangpu River upstream water source protection area, determine the best layout method, the layout density and the best time to layout themushroom bacteria rod in the forest, for building a solid foundation for thedemonstration and promotion of cultivating edible mushroom on the forest land inQingpu district. Forest mushroom (Lentinus edodes), black fungus (Pleurotus ostreatus)and oyster mushroom (Auricularia auricula) were selected by this research which to betested for multi-treatments. In addition, five repeating entry batches were arranged bythis research. In conclusion, the main results of this research can be concluded asfollows:1. In Qingpu district, the most appropriate living environment for the ediblemushroom is from April to June and from September to November. The factor forinfluencing edible mushroom living condition is not the daily range of temperature butthe upper limit and the lower limit between the highest daily temperature and lowestdaily temperature. The daily highest temperature will be decreased for2-3℃byundergrowth environment. The daily lowest temperature can be elevated for1-2℃byunder forest environment. Edible mushroom’s living condition can be improved even inthe hottest summer. In addition, better economic profit and ecological profit can be gained. Edible mushroom is largely required by the market in shanghai and surroundingcities. The retained profit will be from10,000to30,000RMB. The result is shown thanthere exist feasible for cultivating edible mushroom on the forest land in HuangpuRiver upstream water source protection area.2. The study of adaptability in three kinds of tested strains demonstrates thatmushrooms, oyster mushroom and black fungus are suitable for mushroom cultivationin Huangpu River upstream forest, and the appropriate warm type strains should beselected. It is conducive to flush out the excessive and reduce defective strains as wellas the rate of disease while taking the display mode of side by side or herring-bone. Thelarger space of individual strain has, the more uniform water sprays, and the morechance commodity strains product and quantity increases. It leads to some strainsmuddied, affect the quality and the excessive water difficult to remove when the strainsare tiled directly on the ground, or partially covered with soil, thus increasing thequantity of defective strains. Oyster mushroom rod is suitable for multi-display. Itshould increase the quality of the display strains in per unit area, thus improvingproduction.3. Mushroom and long black fungus rods should be cross placed. The appropriatebar spacing is4cm and row spacing is30cm. Short black fungus rods should be verticalplaced. The appropriate bar spacing is10cm and the line width is120cm. Short oystermushroom rods should be multi-layer stacked side by side, and long rods should bevertical placed side by side. The bar spacing between this rods is1cm and line spacingis25cm. Compared with spring, mushroom cultivated in autumn have higherproduction and better quality. Generally, the best time for cultivating edible mushroomis early October in forest land.
