Traditional Chinese medicine Astragalus belongs to Astragalus species of Papiliongeniusae, which is tertiary protection plant.Astragalus membranaceus is mainly distributed in Shanxi,Gansu,Heilongjiang,Neimenggu,Liaoning,Hebei and some other places.China is the largest Pleurotus ostreatus production and consumption country, which belongs to Pleurotaceae of Agaricales of Basidiomycota.Lentinus edodes is a kind of common edible fungi which belongs to Omphalotaceae of Agaricales of Basidiomycota. In recent years,it has become a hot research to obtain new edible fungi by changing the formulation of cultivating materials. This article aims to explore the feasibility of cultivating Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes fruit bodies added with Astragalus spp. This will not only protect the environment, but also obtain good economic benefits and have a high practical value. The contents of the main active ingredients and the influence to mycelia and fruiting bodies of Lentinus edodes and Pleurotus ostreatus were measured in Astragalus membranaceus, aqueous extracts,Astragalus waste,Astragalus remaining roots. The high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and ultraviolet spectrophotometry were the two main methods in this study. The contents of total polysaccharides, total phenolic acids, total flavonoids and total saponins were determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The content of calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside and fomononetin-7-O-glucoside were determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The experimental results are as follows:1.Contents of total polysaccharides, total phenolic acids, total flavonoids, total saponins,calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside and fomononetin-7-O-glucoside in Astragalus membranaceus, aqueous extracts,Astragalus waste,Astragalus remaining roots were 182.60 mg/g 、 4.96 mg/g、 18.13mg/g、20.53 mg/g、70.63 μg/g、19.81 μg/g;564.26 mg/g、12.19 mg/g、56.48 mg/g、62.67 mg/g、220.06 μg/g、63.55 μg/g;46.71 mg/g、2.62 mg/g、10.24 mg/g、10.03 mg/g、13.56 μg/g、3.78 μg/g;98.14 mg/g、4.67 mg/g、17.15 mg/g、17.33 mg/g、58.39 μg/g、16.55 μg/g。2.Compare and screen the optimum fermentation medium for Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes.Taking mycelial dry weight, mycelium density, mycelium diameter and the clarity of liquid medium as references, the most suitable medium to culture Lentinus edodes and Pleurotus ostreatus is bean sprouts juice medium. The article studies the influence of Astragalus to mycelia of Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes. When the maximum concentration of aqueous extract of Astragalus membranaceus was 1.0 g/100 mL and 0.5 g/100 mL,Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes mycelium’s growth is not significantly inhibited.Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes most suitable for the growth of the Astragalus added scale is 15% and 5% respectively.3.The article studies the contents of mycelia and fruiting bodies of Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes. In Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium which is added 1.0 g/100 mL of aqueous extract of Astragalus, the contents of total polysaccharides, total phenols, total saponins, total saponins and calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside were 54.85 mg/g、8.66 mg/g、1.48 mg/g、3.47mg/g、14.75 μg/g;In Lentinus edodes mycelium which is added 0.5 g/100 mL of aqueous extract of Astragalus, the contents of total polysaccharides, total phenols, total saponins, total saponins and calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside were52.52 mg/g,0.97 mg/g,0.35 mg/g,11.11 mg/g,0.86 μg/g.Another characteristic of Astragalus fomononetin-7-O-glucoside were not detected in Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes.
