Development Of Registration Network Platform For Chinese Indigenous Pig Breeds

Chinese indigenous pig breeds are not only a huge treasure of Chinabut also of the world. However, the current status of the conservation ofthese breeds is not optimistic as a result of the introduction of foreignbreeds and weak protection awareness. Nowadays, indigenous pig breeds’living space have been severely compressed, and even some breeds hadbecome extinct. Under such grim situation, we applied advancednetworking technologies to this research in the following areas:On the one hand, we had configured development environment andhardware, built background registration management system, developeddatabase registration standard, designed nine collecting registration formsand exploited bulk upload standard application of advanced networktechnology. All of these implemented network and informatization of theregistration of Chinese indigenous pig breeds. Meanwhile, we developedmodules of the "System Management","Audit Management","Information Management" and "Statistical Analysis", it would be helpfulto establish a effective authority audit mechanisms and realize statisticsfunction of analyzing the registered data scientifically.On the other hand, foreground display system, the window for Chineseindigenous pig breeds and conservation companies, had been completed,which contains seven function modules:"Home","Policies andRegulations","Resource Overview","Corporation Style","TechnologyExchange","Document Download" and "About Us".Chinese indigenous pig breeds registeration network platform is simpleand friendly, it fills the vacancy of network platform for Chinese indigenous pig breeds.
