Soybean and corn were processed by different intensity of magnetic field from50mT to250mT interval50mT and different processing time from0.5h to2.5h, interval0.5h. The biological effects, the activity of peroxidase, amylase of soybean and corn, the activity of corn protease and the soy isoflavone content were determined, and get the following:(1) Magnetic field can promote the germination of soybean and corn. The germination potential, germination rate, germination index of soybean and corn which were processed by magnetic field were increased differently. Magnetic field also promoted the growth of soybean and corn.200mT1h was the best processing condition to promote the growth of soybean. When the products of magnetic field and processing time were200mT·h to250mT·h, the growth of soybean was the best. The same for corn, when the product of magnetic field and processing time was200mTh, the growth of corn was the best.(2) Magnetic field can promote the peroxidase activity of soybean and corn. For soybean,150mt1h was the best treatment condition and the products of magnetic field strength and processing time were between100mT·h and200mT· h, the soybean peroxidase activity was the best. For corn,250mtl.5h was the best treatment condition, and when the product of magnetic field strength and processing time was375mT·h, the corn peroxidase activity was promoted the biggest.(3) Magnetic field can also promote the amylase activity of soybean and corn. For soybean,150mtlh was the best treatment condition and the products of magnetic field strength and processing time were between150mT·h and250mT·h, the soybean amylase activity was the best. For corn,50mT1.5h was the best treatment condition, and when the product of magnetic field strength and processing time was25mT·h, the corn amylase activity was promoted the biggest.(4) Magnetic field had influence on corn protease, soybean secondary metabolites of soy isoflavones. For corn,200mT was the best magnetic field strength and the product of magnetic field strength and processing time was300mT-h, the corn protease activity was the best. For soybean, when the treatment condition was150mT-h, the soybean isoflavones content was the highest of1.227mg/g which was increased by11.8%compared with the control group. When the product of magnetic field strength and processing time was150mT·h, the soybean isoflavones content was the highest. (5) The effects of magnetic field on soybean and corn were the manifold results. This paper believed that magnetic field had disturbance on the main side chain of enzymes, which affected the structure of the enzymes, thus changed the activity of the enzymes. The magnetic field can also affect the chemical bonds of secondary metabolites; make the chemical bond rupture or overlap to alter the content of secondary metabolites. The influence on soybean and corn which was not better with the growing of the magnetic field strength and processing time, was handled by the nature of the object itself.
