China is a big agricultural irrigation country, irrigation area is the guarantee of ouragricultural production, and it can improve the ecological environment, inhibit soil erosionand purify air, so it has an important status in the whole agricultural development. However,due to the unreasonable development of irrigation area in the recent years resulted in thedeterioration of ecological environment, such as, excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides,industrial waste water and domestic sewage discharge, which caused water and soil pollution.This paper analyzes climate resources, water resources, soil resources and human activities inJinghuiqu irrigation area, and selects appropriate evaluation index system and evaluationmethod to evaluate the quality of the ecological environment according to the characteristicsof Jinghuiqu irrigation areas. Put forward reasonable measures to improve the ecologicalenvironment quality based on the problems existing in Jinghuiqu irrigation areas,in orderto provide a scientific basis for the healthy development of Jinghuiqu irrigation areas. Themain research results are following:(1)The meteorological survey showed that Jinghuiqu irrigation areas had favorablemeteorological environment without extreme weather in recent years. Meteorological index,for example, temperature, evaporation capacity and rainfall can meet crop growth.(2) Through the analysis of irrigated water resources, we found that surface waterorganic pollution was serious because of the industrial waste water and domestic sewagedischarge, which graded level Ⅳ. The groundwater survey results showed that groundwaterhad problems of high salinity, excessive exploitation, groundwater levels dropping fast,which formed underground funnels.(3) The survey results showed that the amount of pesticides and fertilizers are too high,far higher than the safety line set by the developed countries. And the fertilizers use ratioimbalance is caused by the excessive use of nitrogen fertilizer.(4) The soil survey results showed that due to the fertilizers use ratio imbalance whichcaused the soil was in a state of slight lack of soil organic matter content in Jinghuiquirrigation areas; Total content of soil heavy metals in the irrigation area is not high, inaddition to the parts is higher; Soil salinity in irrigation areas is not high also, there are no obvious phenomenon of salinization.(5)Established the appropriate index evaluation system and used fuzzy hierarchycomprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the ecological environment quality accordingto the characteristics of Jinghuiqu irrigation areas. The results showed that the overallecological environment quality of Jinghuiqu Irrigation were between “average” and “good”,main influence factors are human influence, such as high usage of pesticide and fertilizer inthe irrigation areas.(6) Aiming at the problems existing in the Jinghuiqu irrigation areas, we should guidefarmer use fertilizer and pesticide scientifically, formulate reasonable irrigation system, andstrengthen water pollution comprehensive treatment to improve the ecological environmentquality of Jinghuiqu irrigation area, make its development in the direction of the ecologicalirrigation district, which achieve win-win ecological and economic benefits.
