In ancientChina, rose breeding once led the world, but now it is far behind. The development of roseindustry promote the development of rose culture, at the same time inheritance anddevelopment of Chinese rose flower culture play a key role in promoting the development ofthe rose industry. Therefore, systematic study and carrying forward the China rose culture havea great and far-reaching significance.This study proposed and obtained the following view results:1、As the current situation of modern rose and rose name are used indistinguishablymixed, at first we should analyze and correct the rose’s scientific name and another namebefore we begin the study of rose culture.2、Starting from the Chinese rose flower cultivation history and the variety evolution, thewrite combs the ancient times Chinese rose culture development vein and the course. It can bedivided into four periods of Tang and Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming and Qing Dynastiesand modern rose period.3、The Chinese rose flower culture are summarized and studied in arts, literature, sociallife and other fields. A system of rose culture has been established scientifically.4、The form and connotation of Chinese rose flower culture is discussed in this article, andthe rose symbolic significance and modern rose in the application of landscape is alsosummarized.
