Two eggplant cultivars (116>117) were crossed with S.torvum, respectively.The interspecific F1hybrid of116×S. torvum and117×S.torvum were obtained. Some important characters of the hybrid and its parents were preliminary studied by morphological, SSR analysis, and sterility research. At the same time take disease resistance analysis about Six eggplant cultivars (01,23,25, B1,116,117) and three kinds of wild eggplants(S.torvum S.sisymbriifoliumd, S. integrifolium)and two interspecific F1hybrids(116×S.torvum and117×S.torvum) disease resistance.The main results were as follows:1. Compared with morphological features between116×S.torvum,1117×S. torvum and their parents respectively. F1had stronger growth, developed root and stem thick, stronger capacity of tillering, and leaf was bigger than the parents. Fruit size, leaf color and designs were close to its female parent, and performance for infertility.2. The pollen of F1was abnormal and inactivating, and its petals could not open normally. Backcrossed the Solanum torvum with F1turned out to be the pollen’s failed-development and could not be successfully hybridized.3.Two distant hybridization F1s and his parents were Compared by SSR analysis.Found all of them are true hybrids which consistent with the field the result of the morphological identification. Use primers U5548.1to amplificat the F1’s DNA and the type is fully complementary with parents.4. All these materials were tested by sclerotium disease resistance analysis. The test selected01、23、B1、116、117expressed a high level of susceptibility to sclerotium disease.25express susceptibility to sclerotium disease. Solanum integrifolium expressed a high level of resistance to sclerotium disease. Solanum torvum, Solanum sisymbriifoliumd and hybrid F1expressed immune to sclerotinia disease.5. All these materials were tested by the verticillium wilt disease resistance analysis. Verticillium dahliae and Verticillium alboatrum had become to the main pathogenic fungius in sverticillium wilt. The test selected Solanum torvum, Solanum sisymbriifoliumd and hybrid F1immune to Verticillium wilt. Solanum integrifolium resistance or immune to verticillium wilt.01,25expressed a high level of resistance to Verticillium nigrescens.116and117express resistance to Verticillium nigrescens.116expressed a mid level of resistance to Verticillium dahliae.117expressed a mid level of resistance to Verticillium nigrescens (V3). B1expressed a mid level of to Verticillium alboatrum.
