In this paper, we studied the ecological circumstances and biological characters, the propagation and Planting methods of Rosa davurica Pall. in Jingyu and Linjiang of Jilin Province and Jiamusi and Qitaihe of Heilongjiang Province. By the investigations and the experiments, we compared the similarities and differences between Rosa davurica Pall and others plants in Rose. Using different concentrations of GA3、NAA and IBA on seeds,we obtained the characteristics of germination.Using different concentrations of IBA and ABT2for cuttings test,we obtained the characteristics of rooting rate. With the study of nursery technology in the field environment, we got the rules of planting to provide the basis for the predict of tame planting methods. The experimental results are as follows:1.Through field investigation found the differences between Rosa davurica Pall and others plants in Rose is that Rosa davurica Pall has twigs with bending skin needling, pink flowers, and spherical fruit. It often grows in sandy loam of shrubs and hardwood forest. It grows well in the sunny place. Rosa davurica Pall has little geographical diversity between Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province.2. Seeds of Rosa davurica Pall is small, and has thick shell, which is very hard.The thousand-grain weight is9-13g. The seed kernel dormancy of Rosa davurica Pall can be relieved after stratification, mechanical processing and soaked in different concentrations of GA3, NAA and IBA. The best combination of GA3was the concentration treating with1×10-4g/mL for24hours, average germination rate is17.33%.The best combination of NAA was the concentration treating with1×10-4g/mL for4hours, average germination rate is13.76%. The best combination of IBA was the concentration treating with2×10-4g/mL for0.5hours, average germination rate is15.99%. The best effect of three treatments is the concentration of1×10-4g/mL with the GA3treatment soak24hours, and average germination rate is17.33%.3. The main asexual propagation method is Stem Cutting. Using different chemical treatments(the IBA of2×10-5g/mL,2×10-4g/mL,2×10-3g/mL concentrations and the ABT of1×10-3g/mL,1×10-4g/mL concentrations) on different parts of Cuttings for spring cuttings test.The results show that the best chemical treatment method is the concentration of2×10-5g/mL with the IBA treatment soak16hours and rooting rate could reach30%. Using chemical treatments of IBA on twig cuttings under common cutting and the full sun-spay-cutting method for summer cuttings test.The results show that adopted full sun-spay-cutting method,which was cutting stems in summer, dousing in2×10-5g/mL IB A for16hours.The rooting rate could reach96%.4. Under the field environment, the survival rate of Rosa davurica Pall in sunny slopes of the places is higher26.6%than in umbrose slopes. The Stem diameter of the plant in sunny slopes is thicker0.11cm than in umbrose slopes.The height of the plant in sunny slopes is higher1.84cm than in umbrose slopes. Rosa davurica Pall grows well in sunny slopes.
