The design of watt-hour meter measuring precision and sensitivity in the field of practical application, calls higher requirements and accuracies, it is particularly important to periodically check the electronic watt-hour meter. Currently watt-hour meter that is widely used in electronic usually has pulse output device each, which is mainly used to indicate the working state of watt-hour meter. At the same time, watt-hour meter, as the terminal of electric energy metering, has a wide distribution range, which is difficult and time-consuming to check, else returning to the factory check costs too much. It is of great significance to the design of the verification system to investigate the uncertainty of watt-hour meter. Based on the situation, this paper designed a kind of electronic watt-hour meter checking instrument based on the SOPC technology.This paper firstly expounds the electronic watt-hour meter calibration methods of implementation and the application limits briefly. Secondly, this paper specitally intronduces the instrument hardware and software design. Hardware design mainly includes data acquisition, data processing and data fusion module design, and the FPGA software design flow chart is given. Finally, after verification, according to the calibration course of watt-hour meter, the uncertainty of watt-hour meter was evaluated and calculated, and the test report is given.At the same time, in view of the modern ways of distribution of the electric meter clustering of real-time data upload supremacy into the remote machine, can maximum reduce missing or false detection. This can according to watt-hour meter working conditions to carry on the comprehensive judgment quickly, and improve the work efficiency greatly.
