Electronic watt-hour meter with high precision, can realize energy data of remote meter reading and multi-rate measurement time features such as automatic acquisition, the rapid increase in the power system. Electronic watt-hour meter that is composed of integrated circuits and electronic components is too much, the change of various factors easily lead to electric energy meter is not measured or power calculation error, causing the electric energy metering disputes. Electronic type electric current meter adopts single-chip microcomputer for data processing, its reliability is embodied in two aspects, one is the software reliability; two is the hardware reliability. Influence of external environment on the software mainly conducted interference and radiated interference in two ways. Software reliability is mainly manifested in when the electric energy meter in the laboratory testing process due to measurement error calibration principle and test method of imprecision due to the test data, the result is accurate and reliable. The hardware reliability are mainly embodied in when the external environment (such as temperature, humidity, beyond the normal range, voltage instability) and long-term charged operation and power of various electronic components in the table are all normal work without failure.The development of applications, this article from the electronic watt-hour meter classification, logo nameplate, working principle and composition unit to start, in-depth study of the electronic energy meter laboratory verification failure such as all kinds of error, fault, fault display fault, communication failure and cost control fault reasons and performance, but also in-depth study the field operation test and fault processing of electronic watt-hour meter, such as testing conditions and the corresponding to the field check gauge installation site requirements, procedures and methods, the test of electric energy meter wiring check and fault handling.On this basis, elaborated in detail to improve the electronic watt-hour meter reliability measures of hardware (including selection of strong anti-interference ability of microcontroller and chip, hardware anti-interference measures, the signal line ground treatment, the conjugate filter to suppress the conducted interference is an effective primary means, electronic watt-hour meter power supply design, memory anti-interference measures,485interface anti-interference ability, purchasing high quality components and stable production process) and software measures (including preheating increase startup time in starting test requirements, adopt contract put high result accuracy, increase the standard table of the total pulse number).
