Infrared scene simulation technology can provide relevant data and guidance for target identification, stealth, and so on. It can lay a firmed foundation for the improvement of military equipment, and offer important value for national defense research.In this paper, two different schemes of format conversion (scheme 1) and mapping function (scheme 2) are used respectively to simulate the infrared scene based on Vega platform,and secondarily develop the infrared target characteristic demonstration software.Firstly,in order to research the target temperature field in scheme l,we should use Pro/E to establish target geometric model,then,we could analyze and calculate it by ANSYS. After the model has been finished, we should use the Creator format conversion tool in combination with the custom of calling function library and OpenFlight API to convert it.Secondly,in order to research the target temperature field in scheme 2,we could uses the field measured and analysis & calculation of ANSYS to establish different target temperature models.By solving the internal infrared Sensor mapping function,and then,writing the mapping function procedures,at last,we can handle respectively each target temperature models.Thirdly,the models of houses and other objects are built by the Creator geometry modeling,texture mapping,then using TMM texture mapping and establishing the 3D background model,and the large terrain models are built by CTS software,the main processes are the original data collection, texture creation, generation and distribution of the terrain and other operations.Fourthly,the first scheme achieves infrared scene simulation of the calculated data based on ANSYS by the above preparations,and secondarily develops the infrared target characteristic demonstration software,which has the specific requirements.The simulation results of different bands and the same target state show that:the infrared radiation intensity of tank and the background in the corresponding time of 8~12 μm was significantly higher than that of 3~5 μm.This result is also consistent with the thermal physics law that infrared radiation of the background mainly concentrates on the 4 μm band above, and it is very low in the 3~4 μm area.The simulation results of the same bands and different target state show that:background infrared radiation intensity is almost the same in the corresponding time; the target temperature distribution vary greatly, and the infrared radiation intensity is different.Finally, the second scheme achieves infrared scene simulation of the field data and the calculated data by ANSYS,and compares of two kinds of simulation schemes of the calculated data base on ANSYS,the results show that:the infrared radiation distribution is more reasonable,more realistic,the effect is better in scheme 1, although the method is more simple, more convenient operation, rapid generation of infrared scene image, but the simulation result is not realistic in scheme 2.
