Furnace Infrared Non-destructive Evaluation

Infrared thermography is a relatively new technique in the field of nondestructive detection. Infrared scanner can measure the surface temperature of the object rapidly, leaving the object untouched and undamaged. Through the surface temperature distribution, the working status of the equipment can be evaluated. Infrared technique is a new, sensitive detection method and an important online monitor method.The output image of an infrared scanner is stored with formal TIFF file format. Most of the scanning information is stored in the private Image File Directory. Lots of image dealing in the software is based on the BMP bitmap operation theory which has been discussed in detail in this thesis. The quantitative computing on the heating furnace lining damage detection is based on the Inverse Heat Conduction theory, the lumpish damage shape is discussed and computed by two and three dimension numeric simulation. The computing results are found to be satisfactory with the experimental results.An infrared nondestructive evaluation system on the heating furnace is studied, and a software is developed based on the actual working conditions of Zhenhai Petroleum Refine Company in this thesis. The system makes the software and the infrared scanner combined perfectly, the output of the infrared scanner can be analyzed correctly and the corresponding result will be obtained betimes, which realized the infrared nondestructive detection automatically.The design thought of the infrared nondestructive evaluation system software is: its precondition is to satisfy the requirements of the petroleum chemistry corporations, it can make the software and the infrared scanner combined perfectly, it can realize the infrared nondestructive detection automatically.The realization thought of the infrared nondestructive evaluation system software is: it can read and analyze the output image of the infrared scanner to get the information of the heating furnace, and then realize the function of image displaying, temperature analyzing, thermal insulation performance evaluation and damage detection.
