People’s demands to personalization customization with high-quality services are increasing with the development of global economy and intelligent production. The competition in manufacturing industry is getting intense under the circumstances of well-spread industrialization and low production cost. Mass customization has become a hot researching spot because of the good efficiency, low production cost and great customization degree. Production scheduling under the mass customization has been researched and optimized in this thesis. The main points are as follow:Production framework and scheduling algorithm for mass customization are proposed. Production is divided into component commonality and customization. Mass component commonality production can be started ahead of processing because of the commonality and the entire production period can be much reduced; According to the multi-item and small-lot features of customized components, material card and process-assembly card are used to guide the production and guarantee to customization.Lot-splitting and scheduling algorithm based on process is proposed to solve the production scheduling problem in mass customization. In consideration of processes diversities, appropriate lot-size for each process is determined. Available sub-batch set and processing machines can be dynamically updated to real-timely adjust the processing route. Lot-splitting is based on processes on critical path. Under this algorithm, compared with the splitting and scheduling algorithm based on workpiece, the maximum batch quantity and the scale of mass production can be promoted, the ready time is optimized.Problems in lot-splitting and scheduling based on process, such as undetermined parameters, local optimal solution, infinite loop, are optimized in this thesis. Parameter to terminate lot-splitting can be determined according to the effect on processing period produced by ready time. Processes are prioritized to optimize the ready time. Stimulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize lot-splitting based on process and a new effective lot-splitting algorithm is proposed to adapt the process scheduling in mass customization. Experiments show that production period is reduced and the batch quantity is kept unchanged under the new algorithm.
