Carrier of high-speed movement in the air requires satellite to achieve communication signal transmission during the flight. When a missile is flying in the air, since the antenna was installed on the missile body, it requires the antenna to keep automatically adjusting its beam direction according to the relative movement between missile and the satellite, so the beam direction won’t depart from the satellite signal and it keeps a continuous communication during the flight. At current stage, phased-array antenna is often used as transmitting and receiving antenna on the carrier, to achieve rapid beam direction adjusting. It is of great importance to study how to make full use of the array signal processing technology of phased array and steadily track the target by the initial angle data of the missile platform.This thesis aims on the algorithms and realization of a close loop system of phased-array antenna steady angle track. According to the angle track system, this thesis focuses on the simulation design of systematically search, catch and track different working status. It accomplishes the close loop simulation of the system track, and designs a simulated experience platform and the host computer.Firstly, this thesis introduces how the digital beam of phased array is formed and the theory of its direction diagram, and explains the general system design and working process of the track system, clarifies the main content of the research.Later, it illustrates the key algorithms in the system’s searching, catching and tracking status, namely the wave bit array and cross-correlation detection methods in the searching status; Pseudo single pulse angle measuring in the catching status; Sub-array related angle measuring method in the tracking status. It also makes a simulation of its angle measuring performance under channel errors. Then it introduces the prevailing Kalman filtering and adaptive α-β filtering methods.In addition, this thesis specifically describes the design of the close loop simulation of the system, including transformation of coordinates, building relative motion track, and detailed simulation of searching, catching and tracking status. It also makes a simulation of system angle tracking performance under ideal and none-ideal situation, taking adaptive α-β filtering method as the filtering algorithm, which proves that the simulation design can realize continuous angle tracking.At last, in order to testify the hardware of tracking system, the simulation platform and the graphical interface, data communication and multi-thread processing of host computer are designed. This will provide a more detailed basis for further research and validation of the feasibility of simulation design in satellite tracking simulation system implementation in hardware platform.
