Measurement And Influence Factors Of Functional Specialization In City Group

With the continuous development of regional and global value chain, striking evidence is presented with a previously unremarked transformation of urban structure from mainly sectoral to mainly functional specialization. Functional specialization has become a new hotspot in the research of current urban structure. In order to research the influence factors and formation mechanism of functional specialization of Yangtze River Delta I measure the functional specialization of these cities in Yangtze River Delta. And I also make empirical analysis of this issue in the analysis of panel data from 2003 to 2013. The result shows that residential cost, level of economy, transport situation and education situation have positive effects on functional specialization, but commercial cost has negative specialization on functional specialization, at last I make some suggestion based on the conclusions.
