With the continuous development of economy and society, with the rapid development of Internet and information technology, the people’s living standards are improving, the public’s demand for science and technology is increasing day by day, and the public scientific quality needs to be improved. At the same time, building a well-off society in an all-round way, realizing the harmonious development of social economy, realizing the Chinese dream, also put forward new requirements to improve the scientific and cultural quality of the whole nation. The scientific and cultural quality of the whole nation is an important measure to improve the scientific and cultural quality of the whole nation, which has been highly valued by the state and society. Today, science communication is facing good opportunities for development, but there are also many practical difficulties and problems, such as a serious shortage of inputs, all kinds of basic science facilities, scarcity and spatial distribution is not balanced, professional science and transmission quality of the team needs to be improved, science communication of content, form and means need creativity. How to explore new ideas, new forms and methods to explore the dissemination of scientific work, improve the effectiveness of science communication, become the most urgent need to solve the problem of Science Communication Workers.In this paper, the integration of new media technology and science communication as a starting point, new media technology applied to the dissemination of scientific, and related learning theory to guide the micro video production to achieve combination of theory and practice. This paper starts from a new perspective of science communication, and takes the micro video as the carrier, with the help of the network and the media to explore how to make the design and manufacture of micro video application in the field of science communication, actively explore new forms and new means of science communication.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background, purpose and significance, as well as the relevant research at home and abroad.The second chapter of the paper mainly from the concept of connotation, characteristics, methods and application of the theoretical analysis of the preliminary study, Research and define the relevant concepts, and the analysis of the basic theory and application. First of all, based on the research of the concept of micro video, science communication, this paper defines the concept of Science communication micro video and introduced the unique characteristics of the micro video of science communication. The concept of digital science communication is studied and analyzed, and the ways and advantages of it are also analyzed.
