Indigenous knowledge is the product of indigenous ethnic group long-term interaction with specific environment, is an expression of cultural diversity and pluralistic human civilization. With the multi-level development of tourism forms and cultural orientation of tourism market continuously strengthen, as a new kind of tourism resources, indigenous knowledge geared to the needs of the market, and to seek the efficient transforming approaches from tourism resources and products. On the one hand, as a kind of intangible cultural heritage, with the time-space evolution and penetration of modernization, indigenous knowledge are in danger of losing, so it is particularly important for its protection and inheritance. On the other hand, it is difficult to form sustainable power to inherit and protect indigenous knowledge which depend on the indigenous community’s passively protect about indigenous knowledge. To a certain extent, tourism productization could solve the contradiction between development and protection of indigenous knowledge. Indigenous knowledge tourism is a kind of new formats tourism products; it has a combination of protection and inheritance features, and provides a point cut for the local culture sustainable development of indigenous ethnic groups.This research is completed under the aid of the National Science-technology Support Plan Projects, based on comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign related literatures about indigenous knowledge and intangible cultural heritage, choosing indigenous knowledge of wa ethnic village of Wengding in Cangyuan as the research object, it has important and profound research significance for wa indigenous knowledge culture protection, inheritance and sustainable development. How to demonstrate tourism resources status of indigenous knowledge, selecting indigenous knowledge elements which are available for use and development, to cultivate theme tourism products, to build the paths and models of the product development, and coordinate the interest relationship among tourists, community, government, developers and other stakeholders, they are all the focal points and core of the research.The first chapter has explained the background and meaning of the thesis, and several core concepts such as indigenous knowledge, sense of place theory, intangible cultural heritage a few core concepts and the related research progress were analyzed and reviewed.The second chapter analyzes the basic research on indigenous knowledge, mainly consist of the sense of place theory, cultural change theory, tourism product development theory, cultural ecology theory and other related theories, distinguish the concept, properties, characteristics and existing forms of indigenous knowledge,The feasibility analysis of indigenous knowledge tourism, the interpretation of ethnic cultural tourism, heritage tourism, ecological tourism and other related concepts, the product classification and development pattern of Indigenous knowledge and so on.The third chapter, is about the current analysis of indigenous knowledge tourism productization at Wengding village, it mainly summarized the tourism development and management status, then indigenous knowledge tourism resources was classified as traditional and non-traditional categories, finally evaluated the condition of tourism productization.The fourth chapter, based on the questionnaire and on-the-spot interviews, take the indigenous inhabitant as the research objects, in view of indigenous knowledge tourism productization, to discuss and analyze relevant content such as cognitive attitude, the economic impact assessment on indigenous knowledge tourism development, evaluate the effects of social life, the evaluation of scenic tourism management and sense of place analysis.The fifth chapter, as the core section of the article, mainly the indigenous knowledge tourism productization system of Wengding village is researched. First of all, based on the foregoing, it analyzes the indigenous knowledge development and management of tourism resources and product, proposed the strategy, objectives and ideas of indigenous knowledge tourism productization at Wengding village. Secondly, it summarizes and analyzes the tourist products cultivation model of intangible cultural heritage and indigenous knowledge, then put forward the indigenous knowledge tourism product development model, namely eco-museum and intangible cultural heritage(indigenous knowledge) tourism experience sites model. The third part is the development of indigenous knowledge tourism products, mainly including indigenous knowledge tourism product pedigree analysis and theme tourism product design. Fourthly, the analysis of indigenous knowledge tourism productization management at Wengding village, based on the analysis of tourism development stakeholders, the scenic area management pattern, indigenous knowledge tourism product property management, we build indigenous knowledge tourism product management mechanism. Finally, to explore tourism productization path of indigenous knowledge at Wengding village.Chapter six summarizes the work of main conclusions, problems and prospects.
