To effectively assess and manage the variety of potential business risks that may arise in procurement process or after procurement is one function of the procurement, these risks may arise from the specific procurement process, such as the stage of signing the contract or delivery stage, there may be produced in the start time of goods using, such as procurement of machinery and equipment parts out of stock or quality problems. At present, a lot research on procurement risk related to many aspects, but most research is focused on the macro level, in view of the overall procurement management,and few study on the specific of procurement process risk. Details is the key of success, the author believe that research focused on the procurement process risk has a strong practical and theoretical significance.The article use literature analysis, case studies, research methods and other research methods to research, and take the work units of the author-Yunnan large industrial enterprises (YL Company) as an example, based on elaborated the procurement risk, procurement process risks, identification and assessment of procurement process risk and other infrastructure knowledge, in-depth to the company’s internal to understand the status quo of the procurement management and procurement process, identify the problems of procurement management for YL Company, and then identified and assessed the procurement process risks of YL Company. Finally, the article in response to procurement process status and the risk assessment of YL Company, proposed the risk management strategies of various procurement processes. Through the research, this article aims to provide guidance for improve the level of procurement management and the management of procurement processes risk for YL Company, and to provide a reference for similar enterprises to prevention the procurement process risk.
