Performance management is a very important module of human resource management in enterprise and it’s also a technology intensive module. HR managers need to consider the effectiveness of performance management from the perspective of business operation. Scientific performance management would ensure the stable operation of enterprises, so performance management system is highly valued by managers. Performance management is a systematic project, including performance planning, performance implementation, performance feedback, application of performance results. Among them, the choice of performance appraisal method is the key of performance management. Based on analysis of situation of the industry and the development of the company, choosing scientific and effective performance appraisal method is the key of performance management.This paper takes CS Company to conduct a case study. It analyzes the existing problems in the performance management of the company, using KPI methods to improve and implement performance management system. This paper firstly describes the background and significance of this study, reviewing the relevant research at home and abroad. Secondly, this paper analyzes the current situation of performance management in CS company to find out the existing problems. Then it designs a performance management system based on KPI. Finally it draws the conclusion.
