With the increasingly fierce market competition,the enterprise survival and the development environment is more and more complex. How to improve their abilities of adjusting, innovating, operating and other aspects in the changing environment, has became an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore, to explore effective ways to improve organizational effectiveness became the focus attention of business circles. According to studying the relevant literature, we should choose a scientific perspective if we want to accurately reveal how does the organizational culture effect on organizational effectiveness.The thesis studies the relationship between the organizational culture and organizational effectiveness by The Competing Values Framework;After reading lots of related literature on organizational culture and organizational effectiveness,generalizes the theoretical concept of the organizational culture,organizational culture of construction enterprises,organizational effectiveness and organizational effectiveness of construction enterprises.And based on the theory of The Competing Values Framework,reference to Quinn and Cameron’s organizational culture assessment instrument and organizational effectiveness questionnaire,and design construction enterprises’ organizational culture and roganizational effectiveness questionnaire.Both of the two questionnaires use Likert5evaluation method,we hace the online questionnaires and entity questionnaires,a total of127effective questionnaires were taken back.Using the SPSS19.0and LIRSEL9.1softwares to analyze the reliability and the validity of the questionnaires,and the resluts showed that the questionnaires have good reliability and validity.And then using the SPSS19.0software to do correlation analysis and regression analysis to understand the organizational culture’s characteristics and the role of the construction enterprises’organizational culture and effectiveness.The conclusions of this paper include three aspects as follows:(1) Construction enterprises’ organizational culture and organizational effectiveness has highly consistency.(2) The dominant culture of construction enterprise is the market culture,and in scores of organizational effectiveness,the score of rational goal model is the highest.(3) Construction enterprises’organizational culture exists significantly positive influence on organizational effectiveness.The clan culture has the most significant effect on the human relations model,the adhocracy culture has the most significant effect on the open systems model,the market culture has the most significant effect on the rational goal model,the hierarchy culture has the most significant effect on the internal process model.The contributions of this paper is using the Competing Values Framework to explore how does the construction enterprises’organizational culture to effect organizational effectiveness,then draws the related conclusions to put forward some suggestions and provides the reference.
