| Urban public transportation is the public service product provided by our government, is the basic and public benefit industry of urban development. As the traffic jam has become ever more serious, developing urban public transport is the most effective method to solve the jam. And is also an important method to realize the urban sustainable development under the background of energy shortage. With the implementation of the strategy of giving priority to urban public transportation development, the city bus scale has expanded rapidly and has been deeply combined to the masses. The city bus developing very fast, but some problems appear in safety management of the enterprises and the government supervision, minor accidents occur frequently, serious accident often happen, the accident affects very badly. Public transport security has become a hot social issue. How to reduce the prevalence of accident and raise the safety level is the puzzle that the administrative department and enterprise assiduously seek for.Firstly, this paper deploys research on city bus accident, factors which Influence bus safety is analyzed. Point out that management fault is the essential reason of accident. Then research on the current situation of safety work for city bus, this paper present the work and existing problems of NC businesses on safety management.Response to address the existing problem, put forward countermeasure and suggestion to NC businesses.
