A Study On The Relationship Between Productivity And Export In Guizhou

With the accelerated process of economic globalization,the development of export trade on economic growth and has an important significance to the national development strategy, study the relationship between export trade and productivity have become the domestic and foreign scholars and policy makers concerned important subject.However, the current domestic and foreign scholars in the study of the relationship between the two, the productivity is defined as labor productivity or total factor productivity,focus on the study of the relationship between single productivity and export trade, unable to comprehensively reflect the enterprise productivity.Based on this context, productivity index by constructing a heterogeneous, to study the relationship between productivity and export trade. Mainly through the following four dimensions of heterogeneity in productivity:(1)the total factor productivity (TFP), is refers to the investment excluding labor, capital and other factors, will promote the increased output of the rest of the factors, such as technological progress, production innovation, returns to scale and other factors, this paper will use the analysis method of parameter estimating total factor productivity.(2) capital productivity (Y/K), as measured by the ratio of GDP and the stock of fixed capital, which rely on the production technology and equipment and other fixed capital embodied in production efficiency, on the assumption that other conditions are identical conditions,if the economy’s capital productivity is high, the output is high, which shows that the economy as a whole production efficiency is high, so it can reflect the economy to a certain extent, productivity.(3) capital per labor productivity (K/L), as measured by the stock of fixed capital and employment numbers, is the reflection of labor in the economy capital per capita possession reflects the level of equipment or capital intensive. If the economy’s capital per labor productivity is high, that economies capital deepening degree is high, the economy is tend touse more capital intensive production methods,production efficiency is higher.(4) the human capital per worker enhanced labor (H), the ratio of formula of human capital and labor productivity measure, reflect the human capital, also enhanced the labor higher representative employees with higher education, labor productivity will be higher.Based on the heterogeneity in productivity, according to law, the inspection found no matter to Grainger causality:Total Factor Productivity (TFP), capital productivity (Y/K),capital per labor productivity (K/L) or human capital also enhanced the labor (H) to represent Guizhou province productivity, but the productivity of capital (Y/K) has negative association with. The export structure and export scale, there is a positive correlation between other productivity and export structure and export scale. Based on the VAR model, draw the following conclusions:productivity to promote the development of export trade,but the effect is not significant; optimize the structure of export trade promotes productivity TFP; reflect the capability of independent innovation and promote the development of export trade, but the effects were small.According to the empirical results and combining the situation of Guizhou Province, further processing of the Guizhou export trade and productivity interaction effect, to put forward the corresponding countermeasure and suggestion.
