Estimation Of Circulation Efficiency Of Agricultural Products In Guangdong Province And Its Influencing Factors

With the strong development of socialist market economy in China, it is known that consumers have an increasing higher requirement on the quality as well as freshness of agricultural products due to the improvement of material level. However, there is still a relatively big gap between China and the developed countries in terms of the circulation of agricultural products, and then it mainly displays in retails made by the famers, the non-standardized products, lower level of the logistics technology and too much circulations of agricultural products, which could not meet the requirement of agricultural products in terms of the regional and seasonal issues in the process of transportation and delivery of agricultural products. There are a variety of fields involved in the process of agricultural product circulation, such as the reform of the circulation system, the diversity of circulated objectives and the establishment as well as improvement of the circulation system. What is more, the efficiency of agricultural products as one of the most important factors influencing the quality of agricultural products dominates the core position in the aspect of agricultural products. In view of the critical impact of agricultural product circulation in Guangdong province on that of other provinces in China, there is a higher requirement on the efficiency of agricultural products in Guangdong province with the rapid change of social and economic environment. Therefore, the agricultural economy of Guangdong province is regarded as the research subject in the dissertation with the purpose of analyzing the efficiency of the status as well as the forecast of future trend, and it aims to reveal the factors impacted of improving the efficiency of agricultural products together with the effective measures.The paper firstly discusses the background, purpose and significance of the efficiency of agricultural products in Guangdong province and research situations at home and abroad, and it also analyzes the basic theory and empirical research on agricultural product circulation. In addition, the basic theories on the circulation efficiency, circulation of agricultural products and commodity economy are demonstrated one by one, including the input and output theory and scale theory. Further, based on the analyses of the theory of agricultural products and the current situation of agricultural products in Guangdong province, the framework on evaluating the efficiency of the agricultural product circulation is constructed through making factor analysis by SPSS19.0. The data is selected from2003to2012, and then it is concluded that although there is a steadily increasing trend of the efficiency of agricultural products in Guangdong province, the overall efficiency of agricultural products in Guangdong province is inferior to that in Guangxi province in recent years, indicating a negative situation than other provinces in China.Finally, on the basis of the empirical outcomes, how to improve the overall circulated efficiency of agricultural products in Guangdong province is put forward, and then the shortages of the dissertation as well as the future research direction are pointed out respectively.
