With the implement of western development strategy, the economic ofGuizhou obtained rapid development, but because of the weak foundation,geographical and historical conditions, the economic level of Guizhou isstill backward, seriously below the national average. Slowindustrialization process is one of the main reasons that led to thebackward economy of Guizhou. In October2010,the government of Guizhouclearly puts forward that carry out the strategy of “powerful industrialprovince” during the period of "twelfth five-year", this indicates thedirection of the economic and social development of Guizhou. In January2012,it has a solid backing for the strategy of industrial powerfulprovince. Now, the problem we face is how to find the industrializationpathway accord with the actual of Guizhou, rather than whether we shouldwalk the industrialized road. In order to accelerate the process ofindustrialization, have to resolve the problem of "mountain economy",create a new way to develop modern industrial economic.Guizhou has the characteristics of typical mountainous economy，thishas both adverse effect and beneficial effect to the industrialdevelopment. Because there is no plain, so the land conditions is notmeeting to the construction of large industrial enterprises andindustrial park, The agglomeration effects of industrial development isdifficult to form; The low level of agricultural development weaken thedevelopment foundation of industrialization, inconvenient trafficconditions and high logistics cost are not conducive to enterprise at lowcost to participate in competition in the market. But Guizhou is rich inenergy and minerals, so there are favorable conditions to develop energy,raw materials and related processing.Now, Guizhou takes the mode of priority to develop the heavy industry.In general, heavy industrialization is the development strategy that manycountries generally chose. However,the experience has shown thatindustrialization process can’t be one-sided rely on heavy industry fora long time, when some countries or regions were prior to develop heavyindustry, ignoring the development of light industry, it had seriousimpact on people’s living standard improving, In addition, because development heavy industry takes up much money, benefit is relatively poorand construction period is long. So, this pattern lacks staying power,it is not effective for a long time, combined with the finiteness ofnatural resources and irrefragable, this will become the bottleneck ofeconomic development. Continuing to rely on mineral resources to developheavy industry, at the same time, Guizhou should develop thecharacteristic agriculture, promoting the development of light industryand carry on regional industrial transfer, developing material processingindustry.According to the needs of the model，in this paper,we analyze themain factors influencing to change the mountain economic model and developindustrial from raw materials, market, capital, labor and technology fiveaspects. The last, Aiming at the influence and restriction of the abovefive aspects, respectively putting forward countermeasures andsuggestions.This article mainly has the following three innovations: First, thecharacteristics of mountain economy determine that it’s industrialfoundation is not as good as the plain. Second, The main factors affectingmountain national and regional industrialization as follows: rawmaterials, market, capital, labor and technology, in order to promote theindustrialization, we must change mountain economic model, breaking therestriction of these factors. Third, there is great relevance betweenpromoting industrialization and shifting mountain economic developingmodel. On the one hand, promoting industrialization in Guizhou are boundto change the existing economic model, at the same time, promotingindustrialization is also asked to break the existing economic model.This paper provides a certain research foundation for the “mountaineconomy” problem and speeds up the industrialization process, this isin favor of finding industrialization pathway of according with thereality of Guizhou province. Because there are not many researches in thisarea, in this paper, we just do some fundamental work, for otherresearchers’ research provide some reference.
