The selection of talents is the key of recruitment, which is also technologically the strongest and hardest link in recruitment. And reliability and validity are two essential bases in the whole recruitment. Firstly, the article understand the status and problems of Corporate A about the personnel selection and the evaluation of talents by collecting a variety of data, using a variety of methods such as interviews, literature, etc. Secondly, the article researched the competency’s model, evaluation center, leaderless group discussions of enterprise from the perspective of improving the reliability and validity of the selection of talent.Finally, we built a more suitable method of the personnel selection and the evaluation of talents to enable enterprises to discover their own problems and shortcomings in the recruitment, improve staff selection of reliability and validity through the establishment of enterprise competency model, the use of technology assessment centers, leaderless group discussions and other methods.In this paper, we had in-depth research for the method of the personnel selection and the evaluation of talents and summarized the main factors influencing the reliability and validity of the selection of talents on the basis of thorough review of previous theoretical literature and issues of selection reliability and validity of SMEs. The article put Company A as an example in order to have a specific analysis of the current situation in the recruitment of human resources personnel selection and personnel evaluation, summarize the deficiencies which exist, and propose solutions to the problem of SMEs. We hope this study to give HR and related research some help and references.
