A Study On Long - Term Care Service For Disability Old People In Beijing

The percentage of Beijing’s ageing population is far higher than the national. With Beijing’s ageing population process, the disabled elders began to increase, and they need more life care services and health-care services. While the small family structure and the increases in women’s participation in the labor force, the old people cannot to use the Love, Service, and position to get Long-term care services. The risks of how to care the disabled elders have been overflowed to the society. But the goal of pension insurance system is to guarantee the old people’s basic life; the limited pension cannot to provide sufficient funds for the disabled elders, that they can get the Long-term care services from the social. Medical insurance only pay part of medical costs, not to pay the bed fee, care fee, etc. Government’s long-term care assistance only covers the elderly people who have lost their ability to work, who have no source of income, and who have no legal guardians whatsoever to support them, or their legal guardians do not have ability to support them and other special old man. Therefore, how to meet the demand of disability elderly long-term care services to become a big title in Beijing.This article mainly uses the literature research, questionnaire survey method, statistical analysis, etc. In this paper firstly analyzed the aging of the overall situation, overall life situation in the elderly, the elderly economic sources and present situation of disability, the elderly long-term care services in Beijing. Then use a way of empirical analysis to analyze the long-term care services in Beijing. Use the questionnaire survey to get the data, then analysis the present situation and needs of long-term care of the elderly in Beijing, and then analyzed the existing problems. Four parts for long-term care services to countries and regions of the elderly security system is studied, and draw some beneficial enlightenment. Finally combining the disability elderly long-term care services development present situation and existing problems, and draw lessons from the experience of developed countries put forward the development of Beijing’s disability, the elderly long-term care services.
