Since reform and open policy, Chinese family firms are obtained to develop quickly. They make a significant contribution in the aspect of promoting economic growth, employment and have become an important force to the economic development of China. However, Chinese family firms also face many challenges. For example, how to reconcile the relationship between family and firms? How to ensure the enterprise performance in the increasingly fierce competitive environment? Experience has proved that enterprise competition is talent competition. To what extent we can promote enterprise performance by the introduction of the Executive.This paper aims to research that the excellent time to introduce the Executive and how to fulfill the talent of the Executive by exploring the introduction of the Executive has an effect on enterprise performance. We cannot discuss these matters in isolation from the enterprise development phase, because the enterprise competition strategy and enterprise human resource management are changeable according to the enterprise lifecycle. So the discussion of the relationship between the introduction of the Executive and enterprise performance change must combine with the enterprise development phase. Chinese family firms are in the different lifecycle, the growth stage, the maturity stage and the recession stage. The author only chooses two hotels as the object of study and has done a contrastive analysis of the two hotels, both of which are in the growth stage. This paper is designed to prove that the introduction of the Executive favors the promotion of enterprise performance.This paper adopts the literature method, the interview method, case study method and the DEA method. Firstly, this paper summarizes former research production about the performance of Chinese family firms, the talent’s mode of Chinese family firms, the connotation and characteristics of Chinese family firms by the literature method. We profoundly realize the double system characteristics of Chinese family firms. Chinese family firms are made up of the family system and the enterprise system. We also have a clear cognition to the talent’s mode of the Chinese family firms. The Chinese family firms usually choose people in their family, people on their own side or the Executive as senior executives. Secondly, this paper makes 4 assumptions. Assumption 1 is that the introduction of the Executive can promote the management performance of Chinese family firms. Assumption 2 is that the introduction of the Executive can indirectly improve the management performance of Chinese family firms by promoting enterprise management efficiency. Assumption 3 is that the introduction of the Executive can indirectly improve the management performance of Chinese family firms by promoting enterprise innovation ability. Assumption 4 is that the introduction of the Executive can indirectly improve the management performance of Chinese family firms by promoting interior cohesive force. The author carried out an investigation in private enterprises and obtained first-hand information. Moreover, the author also enriched the related information by telephone, arranged the data, and then made a case study. All of these lay the foundations for qualitative conclusions. Finally, we proved the assumptions by the DEA method and the case analysis method.The result of this research is that all the assumptions can be proved. Assumption 1, 2,3 can be proved by the DEA method. Assumption 4 can be proved by the case analysis method. The research proves that the introduction of the Executive can promote the management performance of Chinese family firms. The introduction of the Executive can indirectly improve the management performance of Chinese family firms by promoting enterprise management efficiency, enterprise innovation ability, and interior cohesive force.
