A Study On The Influencing Factors Of Intra - Industry Trade Of Electronic Information Products Between China And Korea

The intra industry trade has received more and more attention since the phenomenon of it was found at the 60’s of last century. South Korea and China not only have similar geographical region, close historical and cultural relation, but also cooperate well in economy and trade. Witn the FTA negotiation being put into the deep water and "the silk road on the sea"of twenty -first centry being being put forword, the intra industry trade of Elecrtonic information products between China and South Korea will get more opportunities. Even though intra industry trade of electronic information products between China and South Korea accounted for more than 40% of the share, research has lagged behind. So, It is meaningful to dig the intra industry trade of electronic information products between China and South Korea,which will beneficial for related researches, knowing more about situations and affecting elements, and suggesting for authorities and companies.Through the collection and collation of relevant data of 2000-2012 years, this paper analysis the bilateral trade, intra industry trade of electronic information products between China and South Korea, subindustry of electronic information, products, trade type, trade level, and the main trade situation.Finally, we realize the trade situation that the electric information trade accounts most, subindustry has great differences, foreign owned enterprises are major, and private enterprises develop rapidly.The paper bulid a model for the elements of affecting the intra industry trade level of electronic information products between China and South Korea by spss. Analysis shows that differences in the level of per capita income, average market size, market size, R & D intensity difference and foreign direct investment have significant relationship with the marginal level of intra industry trade of electronic information products between China and South Korea.Based on the research, the paper believes that the relevant departments should improve and strengthen the construction of infrastructure and the legal system to provide policy support; and enterprises need to increase R & D investment, to cultivate the independent brand, to open up the market and expand the scale of market.
