On Japan 's Foreign Ministry' S Support To Overseas Development Of Japanese Enterprises

Enterprises often face many risks in overseas development, in order to associatewith the risks, in addition to strengthening capacity-building inside，companies alsoneed the support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other governmentdepartments. As Asia’s economic powerhouse, Japan has the ability to support theJapanese companies in overseas development,which is a relatively complete system ofpolicies and practices.The supports,which from government towards companies overseas development,exist in the context of economic diplomacy. This article introduce Japan economicdiplomatic and Japanese companies overseas development history after World WarII,and the the Blue Book of Japanese diplomacy, especially the economic diplomacy,ODA construction contained in the relevant content in the official website of Ministryof Foreign Affairs of Japan, combine with the information contained in the officialwebsite of the Ministry of Economic，Trade and Industry of Japan.In this article,the author try to sum up the support policies and practices forJapanese companies overseas development by Ministry of Foreign Affairs ofJapan,and analyze the interaction mechanism among the Ministry of Foreign Affairsof Japan,embassies and overseas companies, also the interaction mechanism theamong Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and other government departments, NGOcooperation in this regard.Following the evaluation, author try to sum up experiences.It does exit some insufficient in the relevant mechanisms of the process whenChinese Government support the development of Chinese companies overseasdevelopment. Japanese experience can shed some lights for us on the practice infuture.
