Korea 's Overseas Agricultural Development And Korean - Chinese Agricultural Cooperation

Since2000, international grain supply have decreased, but, cereal production, consumption and international grain trading volume have rised. As international grain’ price is unstable, South Korea’s food security strategy for up to an important position.I proposed the strategy are as follows. The first strategy is to maintain domestic production. The concrete plan is to protect farmland, to improve the utilization of agricultural land and agricultural investments. The second strategy is the grain reserve system. The third strategy is the national grain trading strategies. The concrete plan is to promote the diversification of import company, to use of direct trading and by trading futures markets. The fourth strategy is the Foreign Agricultural development. The Overseas Agricultural development can solve the fundamental problem of insufficient production.Before the experiences of the overseas agricultural development had a lot of the problems. For example, in the previous survey, lack of management of agricultural education, financial and revenue problems, not to consistent government support, not to prepare a distribution structure and channel, lack of knowledge about the overseas agricultural development. So, before the experiences of the overseas agricultural development almost failed.I proposed the type of region strategies and Types of developer strategies. I type in accordance with the main areas proposed by overseas-based agricultural development strategy. The type of region strategies in accordance with the Asian, American, other states (Oceania, Europe, Africa) classification, Types of developer strategies in accordance with the government and company classification. Government’s strategy includes information and education departments, Capital investment departments, diplomacy departments. Business strategy is to analysis target country’s strategic, investment in facilities, building grain system.Finally, this paper presents the possibility of cooperation Korea and China in agricultural industry. China has a good natural environment, a competitive labor force. And the increased demand for grain in China, the investment in agriculture of Chinese government, the possibility of conclusion of FTA between Korea and China, all of a possibility of such factors proves a lot of potential and opportunities as co-operation Korea and China in agricultural industry. However, the agricultural development of Chinese has some problems. as China conclusion of FTA with other countries, to reduce the kind of a crop planted, the possibility of export restrictions, prohibiting the purchase of land, To demonstrate the potential and opportunities, the strategy ’s direction is the type of region strategies and Types of developer strategies. The type of Region direction is Northeast and western regions based development. Government needs to investment directly. Company’s direction is to cooperate with domestic companies in China and needs to plant a crop selected strategically.I hope to progress the cooperation Korea and China in agricultural industry and make an amicable relationship between Korea and China.
