Study On Strategic Risk Identification And Fuzzy Evaluation Of Petroleum Enterprises

In China, oil is the main source of energy resources. Oil enterprises are crucial to China’s energy security. And the smoothly running of the oil enterprises is related to the healthy development of China’s national economy. In recent years, China’s oil production and economic enterprises have achieved good results. However, at the same time, oil enterprises’ uncertainties and risks from internal and external business environment is increasing. They face the risk of strategic, financial, operational, market and legal risks. Among those risks, strategic risk is very important, how to effectively identify, evaluate and manage this risk is a hot issue which is the popular concern of the academic fields and petroleum business circles, and which needs resolved.On basis of summarizing and summing up to the domestic and foreign research status of enterprise strategic risk, used corporate strategic risk identification, assessment and management theory, together with comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method, this paper does theoretical and empirical analysis of strategy risk of oil enterprises. The research work done and main conclusion are as follows:(1) On the basis of analysis of the concept of corporate strategic risk, defined the concept of the strategic risk of oil enterprises. The paper points out that strategic risk of oil enterprises means in whole process of strategic activities of petroleum exploration and development companies, around the core business of oil and gas resources, because of strategic planning and implementation, resources, capabilities and other strategic elements of the composition of strategic activities can not adapt to environmental changes, enable enterprises to lose competitive advantage and/or relative competitive advantage, leading to the possibility of strategic goals can not be achieved.(2) On the based on oil enterprises strategic risk identification model, combined with strategic risk identification methods to identify oil enterprises strategic risk factors. Based on critical risk factors identification in the oil enterprises, we establish oil enterprises risk assessment index system. Established oil enterprises strategic risk fuzzy evaluation model.(3) Taking a petroleum company of Western China as an example, conducted to identify and evaluate its strategic risk. This paper reaches a level of this company’s strategic risk. Finally, based on the evaluation results, puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.
