Today, the telecommunication industry is entering a transition era. New technologies have emerged constantly with new frameworks of business. The development of E-commerce is accelerating. New technologies and its application such as Cloud Computing and Internet of Things have integrated with the telecommunication industry. Moreover,3G intelligent terminal has been displaced2G terminal. The license of4G is going to be launched in China. Confront of the macro environmental opportunities and challenges, the primary issues for China Unicom Wuhai Branch are how to promote the sustainable development of the business, and how to create more effective distribution channels.This report analyzes the current distribution channels of China Unicom Wuhai Branch with marketing theories, marketing distributional channels theories and telecommunication distributional theories by using the business tools (SWOT, data analyzation, comparisons of data, etc.), which aims to figure out the current problems affected on the effective distribution channels and internal factors influencing promotion of distribution channels. On the basis of these analysis, the strategies and tactics will be introduced to achieve a high performance in series of distributional channels such as retailer, wholesaler, and agent.
