Study On The Problem And Countermeasure Of Smallholder Credit In Yunnan Province

“Three rural issues "has been the focus of the society, the Communist Party ofChina and the State Council regard solving the" three rural issues "as the key ofeconomic and social development. Because the development of rural economy isbackward, it has become a constraining factor in the rapid development of China’seconomy. Yunnan Province is located in the western region, there are a large numberof poor farmers, and the majority of poor farmers live in remote mountain areas, thegap between the rich and the poor is becoming larger and larger. In the practice ofbreaking away from poverty, supporting agriculture microfinance has played aneffective way to help poor local farmers, and it has spread in many places, at the sametime it has succeeded. Supporting agriculture microfinance as a new financial tooland approaches of solving poor situation, has played an more and more important rolein helping poor local farmers.The main content of this article is to study the supporting agriculturemicrofinance of Yunnan Province. At first I’d to introduce the general principles ofmicrofinance and some successful practice at home and abroad, then to summed upthe successful experience; The next I will analyze the economic situation in YunnanProvince, and my analysis will focus on the two poor counties-Longchuan andLongling in Yunnan province. Then I would do a detailed analysis of supportingagriculture microfinance about these two counties. And I will analyze the relationshipbetween supporting agriculture microfinance and the farmers’ income of Longling.Then to prove the supporting agriculture microfinance has a positive effect on theincome of the farmers, and it is able to mobilize the initiative attitude of farmers toimprove the productive capacity of farmers, to increase farmers’ income; during theanalyzing, to dissect the problems that exist in the two counties’ development of thesupporting agriculture microfinance from the government,credit institutions andfarmers. Finally, I would come up with some suggestions to solve these problems.
