With the development of the digital age and the Internet, there are many ways people can get informations. Among them, the broadcast as a traditional means of disseminating information with features of real-time, wide-ranging, free, convenience,etc, is still valued and applicated. Currently, the number of broadcast programs increases rapidly and the paths of transmission are complex, how to effectively monitor and identify the source of broadcast is the urgent problem that broadcast station needs to solve. This paper designs the local and the Internet of remote intelligent monitoring system for information bits of the digital audio. We insert identification codes through local and remote intelligent system into digital audio information and monitor the audio in real time. The problem of monitoring the digital audio information is effectively solved.This article discusses the digital audio stream format of AES/EBU standard interface, analyzes the composition and the effect of its bits. It proposes the plan of designing the monitoring system which is inserting identification codes into user information bits of the digital audio. The monitoring system is composed of two parts:the local and remote monitoring; FPGA’s codec; The part of monitoring at the transmitting end uses the local ARM microprocessor and remote computers which transport identification codes to FPGA by SPI bus, FPGA inserts codes into the digital audio and re-encoded, it will generate a new digital audio stream and output. At the receiving end, FPGA encodes and pass to ARM or PC which can display on the interface.In this paper, the design of the monitoring system based on local ARM and remote computers is elaborated in detail. The main contents:establish the Linux system platform of local ARM; develop the device drivers; build the Qt and develop the intelligent interface based on local ARM; design MFC intelligent interface of remote PC which can communicate with ARM through MFC and VC++network programming. Thereby PC can transport identification codes to the ARM, finally FPGA will receive codes and de-encode; Ultimately the monitoring system is realized by the displaying and comparion on the interface.Finally, the paper tests and analyzes the monitoring system, the monitoring can realize the plan. In the end, the paper summarizes some deficiencies and puts forword prospect of the monitoring system design which is based on digital audio broadcasting information.
