Quantitative interferometric microscopy measurement method is a kind of quantitative phase measurement of biological samples with advantages of high-accuracy, non-invasive and real-time. In order to obtain the quantitative phase distributions of biological samples, we need to do the following works including phase extraction, phase unwrapping and phase compensation. According to the research status at home and abroad, this article introduces three algorithms for the phase compensation. First one is based on image multiplication algorithm,and the second one is based on effective-background phase overfitting algorithm,while the third one is a dynamic phase compensation technique based on Flow Cytometry.The phase compensation algorithm which is based on image multiplication algorithm is suitable for thin object. It requires two interferometric images, including one sample interferometric image and one background interferometric image. Background interferometric image requires the view of none red blood cell and it could be used through the whole process without affecting the real-time measurement. Comparing to other phase compensation algorithms, the phase compensation algorithm based on image multiplication algorithm has the advantages of simple operation and short calculation time. In addition, as the algorithm is based on the low-pass filtering method, it has a strong noise resistance and a good phase compensation effect.The phase compensation algorithm based on effective-background phase overfitting algorithm is improved based on the traditional full-space-overfitting technology. It can obtain the phase distribution of biological samples accurately with only one interferometric image. Compared with traditional methods, it has the advantage of high accuracy and is better for phase compensation.The dynamic phase compensation technique based on the Flow Cytometer(FCM) is a phase compensation which need record multiple interference patterns using the cell liquidty. It can get the phase distribution of biological samples meanwhile eliminate the background phase using a simple subtraction operation with two interferometric images.These three algorithms introduced in this article provide more methods to observe and measure the biological samples. The results could accelerate the pace of the application of quantitative microscopy image technique in medical clinical diagnosis and medicine testing fields.
