In this study,Edge Virtual Bridging(EVB) is researched based on the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu province (BK20130776),which will be applied in the birdsong sensor network.The architecture of birdsong sensor network is designed,using microphone arrays as sensor nodes,based on the principle of wireless sensor network.The microphone array,which consists of four microphones,can achieve the positioning of birds,and it will be used to make intelligent sensor nodes which can monitor the density and activity regularities of migratory birds in wetlands in the bad weather,replacing manual work.The birdsong sensor network has a hierarchical structure based on clustering.As the system is cheap and simple to deploy,with high precision,it can be used to carry out biodiversity conservation of wetlands and surveillance of epidemic diseases.In the system,birdsong data center stores and processes the data collected by sensor nodes,which makes its design of framework very significant to improve the utilization of resources and to gain great performance,in addition to good extendibility.Virtualization technology will be applied in data center to build virtual machines,which share resources in a physical server to complete work independently.Since there are many disadvantages in current the network between VMs,this paper studies EVB in the 802.1Qbg standard,and accomplishes the S-Channel technology which supports VEB and VEPA forwarding modes.With EVB,the internal structure of server can be simplified,and the resource usage rate will be improved.Besides,the supervision and strategy conduction of VMs can be implemented,while the switch can adapt to the migration of VMs.The design of whole framework and important modules of EVB on the switch side is implemented, realizing the communication between VMs through the configuration and protocols. After that, the study conducts the functional testing and analyies the results.On the basis of this study, the birdsong data center can be accomplished with further research. Furthermore, the whole system of birdsong sensor network can be realized. At the same time, the EVB technology accomplished in this paper is also applicable to other Cloud data centers which needs great performance and high usage rate of resources too.
