With continuous expansion of the use of the scope of the Internet, network video aggressively into the process of people’s lives, the network video communication become imaging information exchange platform. Audience access to online video is also increasing, the use of media habits gradually from the one-way transmission of traditional TV to focus on interaction and sharing of the internet. Also important is the audience to watch online video, accompanied by a large number of involved in participative behavior, such as video upload, like, unlike, reviews, discussions, a key sharing, and many of those involved in the participative behavior with social character. As a result,the audience of Internet video has changed from passive to active communication and participants,and it also breaks the traditional TV media "s one-way communication pattern. Therefore, this article takes the network video audience participation mode as the research object, in this process, I will take the " person " as the important base point, the audience" s activity and the selectivity decided the media trend.This paper tries to take the diachronic research as the main line, starting from the process of the development and evolution of the network video audience participation mode, and according to the two factors of the subjective and objective setting: the time clue and the degree of interaction.According to these two kinds of division, the audience will be divided into four stages in the development stage, and select the representative case to sort out and analyze the content. In this paper, the audience to participate in the development of network video changes as the background,the main focus of the audience"s participation, focusing on the audience as the main body to explore the changes in the way the audience participate in network video. After sorting out the research results of the audience"s participation, it is concluded that the audience"s participation is based on the development of passive, active and “passive”. After that, the author will start from the big data related theory, through the study of audience participation behavior, the audience in t he big data era for the "passive" of the audience to give reasonable explanation.Network video audience from the initial start that is with a certain initiative, their participation is to reflect the social and cultural environment. According to the audience"s cultural research, using qualitative research and from the sociological borrowed ethnographic methods, to understand the use of network video audience use behavior behind the significance, respectively from the audience participation way have an impact on the personal, social, traditional media and artistic creation. Combing through the network video audience participation development evolution of the reasons and trends, summing up the past things in common and looking to the future,attempts to explore a development of network video audience participation has a direction guiding significance of the idealized mode.
