| Our country is an ancient country with a long history, archives has made an indelible contribution to record the splendid culture of our country with its original records attribute, so archives has become an important part of cultural heritage and the development of archives has become an important part of the social and historical development of our country. Rapid development in the information age today, the archives is no longer the information privately owned by a feudal dynasty or the government, with the constant improvement of public archives consciousness, the public are no longer satisfied with the identity of users, but eager to participate in archives, for it can both realize public’s demands of archives and contribute to the development of archives.This paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of public participation, and investigates the present situation of the archives public participation to find the current problems of archives public participation, then puts forward the implementation path of archives public participation including the content path and form path. Firstly, from the popular trend of archives, the development of archival institutions and the implementation of personal social value to illustrate the necessity of archives public participation. From national systems, information technology and personal archives consciousness to illustrate its feasibility. Secondly, making archival institutions, experts and scholars, and individuals as the research object to analyze the present situation of archives public participation and to find the problems. Finally, pointing out the implementation path of public participation including the content and form path, the content path including the public can participate in archives publicity and publishing, archives legislation supervision and decision-making, archives collection construction; the form path including the volunteer and community form. |
