After 40 years of the 20 th century, the folk liberal newspaper in China entered the last period of prosperity. In the rest of the 20 th century, the newspaper difficult development because of the Anti Japanese national salvation and the spirit of sacrifice of domination. When we get to the victory of the war of resistance against Japan,the shift between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party makes ideological environment become more open.The contradiction of Chinese liberalism and totalitarianism is gradually warming up and private liberal journalist actively participate in politics.Chu Anping is representative of liberalism in the 1940 s. Seting in the end of World War II in China,this article is divided into four parts: the first chapter analyzes the overall status of the newspaper industry, and analysis the internal and external impact on Chu Anping’s comments. The second chapter based on two basic views- the practical point of view and the traditional "scholars commenting" point of view to analysis the purpose and principle of the Chu Anping reviews,in order to clarify the guidelines of Chu Anping comments. The third chapter analyzes Chu Anping’s comments about some major news events on history. In the fourth chapter, i will focus on the comments features of Chu Anping.It include the pertinence of main topics of;the carefully justified;the sharp language and full of feelings and characteristics.
