Band-pass filter(PDF) application is very extensive, is the most important contemporary and practical electronics, and for band-pass filter design and simulation has also become one of the most important links in today.This paper mainly introduces the theory of micro-strip line and the basic features of the filter, and also introduces the working principle and design method of filter. Mainly introduces the application software of related functions. By changing the internal dimension, choose the appropriate micro-strip structure. Eventually determine the micro-strip filter structure and the simulation. In this paper, the main work is through the Ansoft simulation software HFSS simulation was carried out on the micro-strip band-pass filter. This paper mainly studied the u-shaped micro-strip filter of the relationship between the structure parameters and filter parameters; the results of the study are helpful to the overall design of micro-strip filter. Design the center frequency of 16 GHz, the pass band in 15.8 GHz to 15.8 GHz, the resistance at 15.4 GHz≥40dB and 16.6 GHz≥40dB U-shaped micro-strip filters. The structure of the filter is obtained by optimization simulation parameters; the characteristic parameters meet the design requirements.
