In recent few years, with repaid development in wireless communication technology, people step into the time of wireless network from the time of wire transmission. Also, the wireless communication facility is in continuous optimizing towards intelligentize, high-speeding and miniaturization. With the advance of these technologies, the application areas of these high-techs are expanding and they are in an urgent demand. So it has become a hot issue to do research on wireless communication technology in some certain areas which has a great prospect. A new communication way based on 3G and 4G network which is used in urgent circumstances is designed in this paper.It is based on the 3G/4G mobile communication technology. The 3rd and 4th generation of mobile communication technology have a long transmission distance,it’s high bandwidth enable itself to transfer various media forms like pictures, audio and video. However, a single 3G or 4G wireless channel can’t transmit a huge amount of data because of its low upstream bandwidth while using it to some emergency wireless communication field which need a high data transmission amount.One innovation in this paper is that we use the method of binding multiple of 3G and 4G channel to create a VPN channel to improve the overall upstream bandwidth and the TCP performance. Combining the 3G and 4G styles to a single VPN channel will help to improve the transmission performance on this single channel. The main contents are as follows:1. Firstly, the background and significance of study on the binding the multiple 3G and 4G network is analyzed,and also have an analysis on the improvement of the performance of wireless network and the binding of 3G and 4G network which have been studied already.2. Having an analysis on the design of VPN gateway, the paper is based on this device. The reason is that the binding of 3G and 4G network is used in the device whose communication way rely on the IP channel. After that we give an introduction on the hardware,software,operating system and other function of this device.3. Giving an analysis on the data transmission and treatment of the VPN gateway device. This device consists of two mainly modules. There are VPN module and communication module. The former one realize the function of data encryption and compression and the later one give an analysis on how to realize the load balancing.4. We design a data transmission device and method to fit the data analysis means which we have raised in the 3rd chapter. This transmission device can achieve the dynamic load balancing, which means it can adjust the transmission amount of the IP datagram. After using this way, the transmission performance and the usage of the bandwidth of the channel improved to a high extent.5. Last, a test is implemented in different areas to verify this method. We use the Iperf software to measure the TCP bandwidth through the client and server. The test results show that the TCP performance by using this method meets the expected goals.
