Research And Analysis On Information Management System Of Discipline Contest In Colleges And Universities

Academic competitions have important role in most aspects, such as promoting the reform of education & teaching, cultivating the innovation awareness for college students, improving the overall quality in students and enhancing the practical ability. However, most activities in organizing discipline competitions, including releasing information, organizing student enrollment and verification information and competitions et al. in many universities, are still adopting the complicated manual handing which of course is difficult to achieve effective management and expand the scale of the organization.Therefore, this paper analyzes and designs the information management system (hereinafter referred as the competition management system) statement focusing on the management process in organizing the academic competitions. The main contents are as following.First, this paper analyzes the management system, and describes the basic business of the system and the publicity, requisitions, management, preliminaries, finals and so on in detail based on the analyzing the demand of the Competition Registration and entry submission.works review,maintenace work and competition results management of related research.Second, system functional analysis are processed, including system use case analysis, and gives publicity system, a detailed map feature pack registration, preliminaries and finals and other major functions, based on the basis of business analysis of the management system.Third, system data analysis functions are also presented, including publicity, registration, preliminaries, finals, etc. conceptual class diagram, class diagram thumbnails entity class diagram, and the database table structure system is designed based on the management system business analysis and functional analysis.Finally, the main works of this thesis are summarized and further studies of the follow-up paper work are also given in the conclusion.This Contest management system can liberate organizers, the participating students, the judges (teachers) from the complicated manual operations out of the competition and enhance the efficiency of the work, expand the scale of competition organization, improve management efficiency contest to promote the institutionalization of race management, standardization and the level of information.
