Agricultural mechanization is a core part of agricultural modernization. In order to develop agricultural mechanization, we should develop outstanding agricultural machinery. Excellent agricultural machinery design is inseparable from mechanical precision design. With the development of computer technology, many aspects of mechanical design work are carried out on a computer. Computer-aided technology which plays an increasingly important role in the mechanical design is widely used in all aspects of mechanical design, including precision mechanical design.The mechanical product designers often encounter the problem of marking surface roughness of the parts. As a piece of widely used graphics software, AutoCAD does not provide surface roughness labeling methods based on new national standard. The surface roughness symbols in new national standard are more complex than them in old national standard. When the designer draws mechanical drawing by AutoCAD, he needs to solve the problem of marking roughness symbols and parameters. If a piece of software on query and marking the surface roughness is designed, design efficiency will be greatly improved. It has very important significance.After building the common roughness database by ACCESS 2010, the VB can connect the roughness database. Users can carry out the fast query of the surface roughness in the query interface. In the marking interface, users could input the roughness parameters according to the query results and input other parameters such as processing methods, surface texture, allowances. Users can also set the font height and the rotation angle according to actual needs. Then, by clicking six different roughness symbols on the right side of the program interface, the program automatically switches to the AutoCAD interface, and will quickly mark surface roughness symbols and parameters on the point where the left mouse button was clicked on.The surface roughness query and marking system can be easily designed and occupies a small storage space. It is operated easily and flexibly. The system can greatly improve the efficiency of the designer and bring more benefits for the enterprise. It has a high practical value.
