At anytime and in anywhere, everyone can freely through the Internet to post of interest expression In the Internet age. We can see from the many hot network anti-corruption events, Internet has become an important path to investigate and punish corruption cases.Because network anti-corruption is currently in the preliminary stage of development, so there are still many deficiencies. When network anti-corruption is revealing the official corruption, some Internet users speak some false words freely on the Internet. Most netizens are so hating the official corruption that they believe the rumor and spread it widely without thinking. They didn’t pay attention to the privacy of the officials and their relatives.Even they are corrupt officials and other criminals, they still have the right of privacy and right of reputation and personal dignity shall be inviolable in the aspect of law.This article will start from the background of The Times development, combining with the research status at home and abroad, research about cause and harm of Internet rumors and its role in the effect of anti-corruption.
