Some people say,twenty-first century is a new era of dialogue.The dialogue as the main content and form of thecharacter of TV chat show has become a fixed column of TV stations at all levels.But with the rapid development of network media,the website also started network original characters chat show. The traditional TV chat show is facing enormous challenges.《Starface》 established in 2000, which has fourteen years of development history.Its experience of development has some value to other TV chat show.This paper aims to study and analyze the situation of 《Starface》’s development,as well as the content and the form of this program,as well as the problems in the process of its development,and its inspirati on from the problems,which provides reference for the same type program in the domestic.The text is divided into three chapters:the first chapter is about its definition and a brief overview of the development of 《Starface》 《Starface》 is defined as a television character chat show, which is composed of TV talk show program and is one of the specific types of columns.However,it has some difference with the television interviews. The third chapter aims to find and analyze the problems in the development process of 《Starface》,and to seek enlightenment and development from the probles.There are a fierce competition of the media environment and the tendency of homogeneity on program content,and the tendency of a single propaganda.The enlightenment of these problems is,《Starface》 are supposed to seek more new contents,to keep the show culture grade.The most important thing is to strengthen the network cooperation to realize its healthy development.
